After 14 years this recording has finally been made available. it features the two big hits from the early nineties...
Catch Me and (the title track) Still in The Way
Listening to this cd invoked memories of growing up with parents who played our only true great rock masters. You know that feeling; it was back in the seventies. It happened when WNEW’s Vin Scelsa or Dennis Elsa played Jimmy Hendrix, The Doors, The Band, CCR, Bob Dylan, Stevie Ray Vaughan...
I found myself once again dancing and singing around the living room to blues-groovy rock beats...
The talent is all there, strong vocals, rocking bass and guitars all beated together by a powerful drum.
Sweet Heat combines funk with jam topped with smooth vocals; I love this one!
Still In The Way, Mexico, and Crazy Mary are sung with incredible vocals and have stories in them that compel you to get into the soul of the author.
The way these guys jam together is as natural as Mother Earth herself.
If you ever get the chance to see them perform together live, you’re in for a fantastic musical experience!
The cd peaks with Crystal Gypsy and climaxes with Mama, tunes that you wish would jam on forever...great fu*&ing music guys!
